Grant has several years of experience as a director in his own consulting company and in various voluntary governance roles in sports clubs as either president or committee member. In addition, he has held various roles reporting to company directors, including senior national leadership positions such as General Manager Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles NZ, Head of Hyundai Trucks NZ, and National Manager Hyundai Hydrogen NZ.
