Asset & Engineering Manager, Real Journeys
Christopher has an extensive naval engineering background covering all elements of marine engineering and engineering management, proven project management skills, and experience in planning and executing large capital programmes. He has led multi skilled teams in challenging environments both within the civil and military contexts.
Christopher has a senior capability management role within the Real Journeys Group and is responsible for the provision of technical advice, engineering support services and quality assurance of the Group’s asset portfolio. Christopher is also responsible for the management of the engineering division, development of all engineering budgets and expenditure, development and implementation of the Group’s capital investment strategy and asset management policy and portfolio including vessels, coaches and infrastructure across multiple locations.
Christopher has a Masters Degree in Military and Defence Studies – The Australian National University (2013), a Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Systems Engineering) – University of South Australia (2010), New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (Power & Plant) – Central Institute of Technology (2000) and National Certificate (level 4) Maintenance and Diagnostics – NZQA (1998)
